![]() ![]() As a practical matter with the burgeoning crowd that is just not possible. In an ideal world if the Pool had been limited to maybe ten (10) or so people it would have been fantastic. Once beneath the water a whole new world of color and life expodes right before your eyes. I was awed by the sheer number of and variety of brightly colored fish swimming in and around me in the Pool. If you can get past the above and can manage to get underwater the sight is as surpising as it is magnificent. I was kicked a number of times and feared being held onto (pulled under?) by a nervous or frantic swimmer. Obviously the degree of comfort that each individual had with swimming ability, the gear, close proximity to other people, and the reaction to the slippery sloping rocks around the edge of the Pool all varied by huge degrees. So many people in an enlosed area is a little scary. The Pool was absolutely jammed with visitors all donning fins, masks and snorkels - some with flotation vests - some without. I would start by saying that this is not a place for small children or the elderly. If allowed, I would have put this between a 3 and a 4 for the reasons stated below. We visited the famed Natural Pool in August, 2012 with ABC Safari Tours. ![]()
